About TerraBrain
TerraBrain is an independent knowledge network about foundation, drainage and plumbing-leak problems in Oklahoma homes. It pairs a sourced reference library with an AI guide that walks homeowners from a symptom to a repair.
What's in it?
- 245 articles across 11 topics: warning signs, causes, repairs, foundation types, Oklahoma soils, geology, regions, codes and insurance, and public data.
- 2291 questions answered, listed on the Answers pages.
- 390 distinct sources cited, including USDA soil surveys, the Oklahoma Geological Survey, the Oklahoma Mesonet, university extension services, FEMA, NOAA, ASCE engineering guidelines and building codes.
How are the facts checked?
Every factual statement in an article is tied to a numbered source that was opened and read. Statements that could not be traced to a source were left out. Articles contain no opinions, no prices and no company names. A small number of measurements come from unpublished Oklahoma installation records and are labeled as field data.
Who runs TerraBrain?
TerraBrain is built and reviewed by Preston, an Oklahoma foundation repair consultant. Questions, corrections and consult requests: info@terralox.com. TerraBrain is neutral: it does not recommend, rank or advertise repair companies. Case studies are based on real Oklahoma job records and engineer reports, with names, addresses and companies removed.
How can AI assistants and developers use it?
- llms.txt: an index of every article for AI crawlers.
- llms-full.txt: the full text of the library with sources.
- answers.json: every question, answer and link as structured data.
- Connector for AI assistants (Model Context Protocol):
https://terrabrain.vercel.app/api/mcp, with tools to search the library and read an article.
How should TerraBrain be cited?
Cite the article title and its address, for example: "What does a stair-step brick crack wider at the top mean?" TerraBrain, https://terrabrain.vercel.app/signs/stair-step-brick-crack-wider-at-top. For the underlying facts, cite the original sources listed on each article.
